Even though she chatted with Z’kel daily, they hadn’t really talked. It was like they had silently agreed not to mention that the second son of Tillek Hold was now a greenrider with a baby dragon to care for. It was just a simple fact of life that now existed and didn’t need to be pointed out. They were both great at ignoring awful truths and big changes until the last possible moment and Mylorah knew that it was time to deal with the green truth of the matter. It was hard not to after Lord Tillek got his visit in. She had made herself scarce since seeing her would probably only further upset the man. But maybe she could have been a focal point for any anger he had. Now she wished she had stayed within sight.
But it was too late to change that part of the day so she focused on what was left of it and led Amagrith from the feeding buckets to where Z’kel and Seravath were sitting alone. A fond smile appeared as Mylorah took a minute to simply watch her lordling. He was still as handsome and captivating as the first time she spotted him on the edge of the dance square at a gathering. She also knew in that moment that she would still do anything in her power to see him smile and that he was happy.
With a bounce in her step and a chubby dragonet prancing beside her, Mylorah continued her approach with a cheerful greeting. “Good evening, Sir Tazicurls and to his beautiful companion Lady Seravath as well!” Even with a bucket of oil and a rag in her hands, and lacking the proper attire, Mylorah gave her best sweeping bow to the pair. Amagrith’s eyes whirled with delight and did her own version of a bow as well, seeing it as a fun game. “May we join you?”
